Fenway Neighborhood Information

The Fenway neighborhood of Boston, also considered the Fenway/Kenmore neighborhood, is bordered by the Mass Pike on the North, the Back Bay Fens and Columbus Avenue on the south, and by Mission Hill on the south and west.

A high concentration of students from neighboring universities and schools live in the Fenway area. Nearby schools include:  Northeastern University, Boston University, Boston Latin School, Simmons College, Harvard Medical School and more.

The area also has many of Boston’s attractions including Fenway Park, The Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts Historical Society, Symphony Hall, the Back Bay Fens (park designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted, the architect of Central Park), plus many bars and restaurants.

Housing in the neighborhood is primarily five to six story apartment buildings. Fenway apartments are conveniently located near many lines of public transportation including MBTA green line stops of Hynes (B, C, D lines), Kenmore (B, C, D lines), Fenway (D line), Symphony (E line), Northeastern (E line), Museum of Fine Arts (E line).
